Montana residents, I need your advice.?

I am researching different cities in MT as I am seriously considering a move there. I am particularly interested in e/Helena areas. I have researched Bozeman, but it just is too expensive for me. Although, I just love that town! I am a nurse and there is adequate work for me in both Helena and e, so I was thinking some location inbetween these two locations. Any suggestions from you would be GREATLY appreciated. Cite pros and cons of both areas, expense, crime, etc. I am from Minnesota, so no need to tell me about the winters, as I have lived through winter seasons for going on 40 years now. If you live in a particular bad or good area, tell me about it. I'm not positive on the Helena/e area, it's just a starting point. Thanks a lot and have an awesome day!
