Reception Help! How do we fill the time!?

Because of our religion we cannot have alcohol at the wedding reception...it would offend the elders. I'm sure I could get by with the standard father/daughter dance, first dance and so on, but how do you keep people entertained for the remainder of the time? We have a crunched budget and I'm not sure if we can afford hiring a band/DJ. But what is the point of a band/DJ if people cannot really "get-down" and boogie to it? Any ideas for a church reception that would be fun, non-offensive to the elders, liberal enough for us young-ones, and wedding worthy? It is going to last for about 3 hours and I do not want people to leave because they are board. We have both religious and non-religious people attending and I really don't want to offend either group. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
